Two men have been remanded in custody after appearing before Chichester Magistrates Court today charged with a number of serious sexual offences against teenage boys and making and distributing indecent images.
John Churchley, aged 56, from Littlehampton and David Keen, aged 27, from Bognor Regis have been remanded to 6 August.
The arrests, under Operation Addition, were made by specialist-trained Sussex Police officers conducting ongoing investigations into suspected paedophiles who have been identified following Operation Algebra, an intelligence gathering and enforcement operation undertaken by Lothian and Borders Police.
This is still an ongoing, active,investigation and DS Jez Prior from the Child Protection Team at Bognor Regis Police Station would like to hear from anyone who may have any information in respect of this investigation.
